PRE-FILE SERVICES by OC CRIMINAL DEFENSE ATTORNEY
An ARREST DOES NOT MEAN Criminal Charges are Filed.
In the pre-file process, Domestic Violence Legal Center® works to mitigate potential charges or prevent them from being filed altogether. By strategic intervention early and often, we strive to shield our clients from unnecessary legal proceedings and mitigate the impact on their lives.
When you are just arrested and want charges rejected by the DA’s Office! An arrest is not a charge. Police officers make arrests and essentially suggest charges be filed by the District Attorney’s Office. An officer is not a Lawyer or a Judge. Police officers make arrests and essentially suggest charges be filed by the District Attorney’s Office. 👮♀
Whether charges will be filed against you is up to the District Attorney’s Office. Lawyers’ powers are not embodied in a uniform or weapon, but in the briefcase they carry. ⚖
As a Former Deputy District Attorney, Tracy Catherine Miller’s career included making these decisions and can help you by employing her experience to perform the most accurate assessment of your situation with a case plan to gain the most optimal results. Criminal defense attorneys strive to make sure that everyone gets a fair shot. ⚖️✊
We offer pre-file representation services, also referred to as pre-accusatory representation, which involves custom mitigation plans to increase the likelihood of your case getting rejected. This will alleviate you having to go to Court for your Arraignment and move on with your life sooner rather than later. 🏛️💼

“If I have a court date scheduled shouldn’t it show up on occourts. org?” (Avvo question)
If you have a court date for an Arraignment scheduled on at the Harbor Justice Center but when you try to look it up on occourts.org and it doesn’t appear, then you may not have a case filed against you yet. Time is of the essence for you to call us now to help with pre-file representation since the case may not be filed against you yet because it is still in the investigation phase or a Deputy District Attorney is reviewing it for filing. My firm will try to intercept that filing and have the case rejected.
